Talea Cornelius, PhD, MSW, MS

Dr. Cornelius is a social psychologist and biostatistician, and she is currently an Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences (in Medicine) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is a recognized expert in dyadic research and mechanism-focused intervention development. Her research situates psychological, behavioral, and physical health within a social context, with a focus on dyadic processes following acute illness. Dr. Cornelius has also begun to explore complex questions regarding the nature of dyadic v. individual constructs, with implications for operationalization, measurement, and methodology.
