Dr. Mitchell is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Senior Scientist at Hebrew Senior Life’s Marcus Institute for Aging Research, where she directs the Palliative Care in Aging Research Center and co-direct the Interventional Studies in Aging Center. She is a geriatrician and health services researcher, with interest in improving outcomes for older patients with advanced illness, particularly those living with dementia. She has extensive expertise in dementia and pragmatic clinical trials and is committed to supporting pilot projects that align within these topics.
